Hubei Huayang Automotive Brake Co., Ltd. was founded in 1995, spun off from Sino-US joint venture Meritor Huayang Automotive Brake Co., Ltd. After equity restructuring, share reform and listing, and production capacity upgrading, it has grown into a national-level specialized and sophisticated "Little Giant" enterprise. For more than 30 years, it has focused on the R&D and manufacturing of brake assemblies and parts for commercial vehicles and off-road vehicles.
Located in Shiyan Longmen Industrial Park, the company covers a plant area of 50,000 square meters, including 23,000 square meters of standardized production workshops. It is equipped with 310 sets of fully digital production equipment and multiple fully automatic and semi-automatic assembly lines for brake assemblies, achieving a strong annual production capacity of 1.5 million commercial vehicle brakes and 500,000 passenger vehicle brakes. The enterprise has established a complete quality control system, and has obtained certifications of QS9000, IATF16949 quality systems, as well as environmental and occupational health and safety management systems. It has been recognized as a high-tech enterprise for fifteen consecutive years. It owns a provincial enterprise technology center and Hubei Automotive Brake Industry-University Joint Innovation Center, holding more than 40 patents including 9 invention patents.
As a domestic manufacturer of full-range brake products, Huayang Brake covers two major product lines: drum brakes and disc brakes, including S-cam brakes and wedge brakes, applicable to various working conditions of trucks, buses, mining vehicles and off-road vehicles. It is also one of the earliest domestic enterprises to develop lightweight stamped and welded shoe brakes and wedge brakes. The Passenger Vehicle Division was established in 2021 to expand the R&D and mass supply business of passenger vehicle brakes and continuously broaden its product portfolio.
